Michael Wigington: World Building vs. Setting

C.I. Chevron: Writing with Bated Breath

Michael Scott Clifton: Journey into the Realm of Magic and Mystery

Michael Wigington: Unbeknownst to many around him, Michael, a native Texan, is an immortal who has sat at the Round Table with King Arthur and listened to the wisdom of Merlin. His father, when Michael asked if he could help a halfling take a ring to Mordor, told him to go mow the yard instead. Thankfully, he was allowed to go with Jason after the Golden Fleece and fought against a horde of skeleton warriors. When he was sixteen he was tied to the mast of a ship with Ulysses and heard the sirens sing. Once, he traveled to France with the Scarlet Pimpernel and helped him free nobles there. Some fun facts: Michael lost his pet dragon, “Old Blue,” in a Gwent game against Zoltan the dwarf. He dated Grendel’s mom, (only one time) and swears he’s not the father. After spending ten years in Azeroth he decided it was time to move back to Texas. These days he spends his time between Texas and the Corvarix Age kingdoms of Havenfurst, Finavoré, Kedgewich, and Fjolkgard. Michael writes the tales of those lands until his lovely wife, Kara, says it’s time for dinner. If adventure and heroic deeds are for you then come on in, if not then leave like a little baby.

C.I. Chevron: is the author of the Mutant and Modified Fractured Fairytale Series which includes Metal and Bone, Cogs and Fur, Tooth and Nail, Pride and Pistons, and Unsealed. The series could be called Steampunk (Victorian science fiction with a fantasy element) or the imaginings of a crazy lady, you’ll just have to read them and decide for yourself. There’s also a standalone, Four Days to Fusion. When not writing as C.I., she switches hats and genres to Lira Brannon as whom she has written children’s books (Trees for the Children, Daddylion Wishes), Christian Romance (Hotshot Romance) and Christian YA series with A Different Kind of Cheerleader and A Different Kind of Black Belt. At some point, she wrote a cookbook as Lisa Simmons—How to Eat like a Dragon. All this to say, she really likes making worlds and helping people create and perfect their own worlds. C. I. has been a member of NETWO for 12 years and is an active member of a critique group which asks enough questions to keep her worlds believable (somewhat).

Michael Scott Clifton: Multi-Award-winning Author Michael Scott Clifton lives in Mount Pleasant, Texas with his wife, Melanie.
