A little about our organization. NETWO, founded in 1986, has operated in Titus County with regular monthly meetings the second Thursday of each month since the first meeting on May 29.
Throughout the year, we have workshops and writing contests. Our annual conference is held each year in April. Members enjoy monthly meetings and a monthly newsletter packed full of information for authors and writers. Here's a small view of our networking opportunities:
Volunteers and elected board members make it all happen
Since the beginning, our mission at NETWO has been for writers in all genres and abilities to have support and encouragement in their writing. We offer several avenues for writers to advance, whether just starting out or already published, members are committed to others.
Our members are from all over the state of Texas. We meet the second Thursday of each month at the Franklin County Cultural Arts Center in Mt. Vernon. Our meetings are organized, informative, and interactive. They begin at 6:00 PM.
Prior to the meeting, we offer our members who wish to participate, a critique and edit of their work in progress. The critique starts at 4:00 PM. Non-members are allowed to sit in twice before being asked to join.
