Jory Sherman Short Story Contest: Named after a founding member of NETWO, prolifically published author, and mentor to countless authors, this contest begins in January, closes in March, and winners are announced at the Annual Conference in April. The contest is open to all genres and skill levels with cash prizes.

Nonfiction Contest: The contest is held in late summer and is dedicated to those authors who love to write those non-fiction pieces. Magazine articles, memoires, reports, are welcome.

Teen Contest: One of NETWO's favorite contests designed to promote writing in the younger generation. This contest is held in October-November and is open to 7th-12th grade entries. No entry fee and small cash prizes with certificates are offered.
