Speaker will be TOM MORRISSEY

Tom Morrissey spent 37 years teaching in higher education facilities, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Rhode Island School of Design. He is presently Adjunct Faculty Member of Texas A & M University Texarkana. Already the recipient of a National Science Foundation Fellowship award, Morrissey got his second fellowship in 2019The first was for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Guitar Building. His latest included a trip to Houston to learn more about the science of guitar making and how it can relate to teaching STEM principals. Morrissey builds high-quality guitars in several styles under the brand name Veteran Guitar. He is a 17-year veteran and former helicopter pilot (Vietnam). NETWO members will be interested in his Coffee Table book of photographs "Between the Lines: Photographs from the National Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Washington DC," published by Syracuse University Press.He has been a long time photography instructor.Look him upVeteranGuitar.com.
